So what have you been playing lately?

I pulled out the ol' Sega Saturn last week, and I have been playing Sim City 2000 and Command and Conquer. I really think the Saturn is much better than people give it credit for. I may pull out NiGHTS tonight. That should cheer me up!

I played Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS2 for like 4 hours straight today. First time I've played video games other than Guitar Hero in like a year. I might start playing Final Fantasy X again also. Or play through Guitar Hero 3.

since Nathan brought the Wii, he & galoot have been playing Mario nonstop. i even had to watch the news in the man cave last night.

(i didn't mind. i kinda like watching TV in there cuz it's so close. i can read everything on the screen)

I rarely play video games these days but I did beat Tomb Raider: Anniversary the other day. Even though it's a remake of the first game, it feels like a completely different entity because of the improved graphics and gameplay.

I've been playing MVP Baseball 2005 almost constantly. I just finished my first season in Owner Mode, taking my Detroit Tigers to a 99-63 record and World Series victory over the St. Louis Cardinals in 6 games. I finished up the off-season and got started on Spring Training afterwards. Amazing I only bought the game about less than a month ago. It's just such an amazing game, despite the age. I can't wait until EA Sports can make another game for this series, they are truly the best at baseball games.

I started a new account for Kingdom of Loathing for over break. I always listen to the Apollo 18 album for some reason when I play that game. Like I don't want to play unless I can play and listen to Apollo 18 so I made my new account name Apollo18.

I shall have to go back there again and add you now, since I have no friends on there.

I don't usually play video game, not at all.
But I got hooked on this game called Deus Ex recently.
It's like the most amazing game in the world...

I've been playing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on Jonathan's PS3 (he downloaded it) we played through and beat it taking turns, but I'm still trying to get all the items and secrets I missed.

I played Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal at my sister's place today, just a casual tryout, but she gave me the game and a stack of others she doesn't play anymore, so now all I need is a PS2, but Jonathan said I can take his since he has PS3 now, I just have to get around to going over there and hauling it back. Trouble is it's usually the middle of the night when I leave there and I don't feel like getting mugged.

I recently played through the original Mega Man recently, ah memories!

I just got a PS2 of my own today for Christmas along with some really good games for it. Had Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, NHL 08, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, and NFL Head Coach and my dad was given Fight Night Round 3 for it also. I sucked so bad when I played Guitar Hero again, and then somehow I got pretty good at Easy and now it's not as big a challenge for me anymore. I'm really loving that game, and also hooked on Battletoads lately. Namely the first two games of the series, through rom since it's easier.

Well now I'm playing Metroid Prime 3. It's real good even if it is a little too much like Halo. I hope the whole game isn't like that!

P.S. You can tell that Samus is a girl because she's gotta have a space ship that matches her space suit

i'm addicted to my little 20Q game that Pam got me. it's not really a video game, but...

& galoot is still playing Mario on the Wii ad nauseum. the music is starting to drive me a little nuts. i wish he'd beat this level.

Is it super mario galaxy? That game looks fun.

I've been playing Sega Genesis (old!) a bunch. Sonic & Knuckles 3 a lot. I have a Genesis emulator on my computer, but I used to play the real thing with my cousins a lot years ago.

i really don't mind. he only gets to play the Wii when the kids bring it. he deserves his fun. he works so hard. i just like to tease him about it.... cuz i'm evil.

Noah loves Sega Genesis. he has a ton of old video game systems. he's a collector.



i never heard of Portal. what system is it on?

I know Portal is on PC. Is it on anything else?

I played it with my friend. Its sooo cool. I don't think my laptop could handle it though (1.6ghz pentium m processor, 512mb ram, some weak mobile intel graphics card that came with it)

portal is in the orange box which is on ps3 and 360

Well right now I'm playing through a bunch of awful games so I can write about them for my video game blog. I'm trying not to do so many Atari Jaguar games anymore because they are way too easy!
