Disney announced that E! critic Ben Lyons and TCM host Ben Mankiewicz have signed on to co-host the new show.

I've seen the TCM guy, and he's all right; the E! guy is new to me, but if he's anywhere near as good as his dad, Jeffrey, this new show might be worth a look. emo-tmbgtalk_hmm.gif

he's on the D10 (on E! at 6:30 Central) all the time, if you wanna check him out. he's usually on on Thursdays & Mondays the most, on account of the weekend box office stuff. emo-tmbgtalk_thumbup.gif

I'll have to check that out. emo-prplhappy.gif

(Speaking of E!, I've been getting into The Soup, too. emo-tmbgtalk_lol5.gif )

i love that show! emo-tmbgtalk_thumbup.gif now is a good time to start watching, cuz they're also been showing a bunch of "The Soup Presents" shows, which are basically just clip shows of past shows that have been on in the last several months. emo-tmbgtalk_yeah.gif

emo-tmbgtalk_lol2.gif I caught one of them, too -- "Stuff Your Mom Won't Let You Watch," or something like that. emo-tmbgtalk_nut.gif

emo-tmbgtalk_lol2.gif yeah, that one was pretty funny. emo-prplhappy.gif

Yeah, I've been watching that show all my life. I still always watched it even after it no longer had Siskel or Ebert. I loved how they just talked about movies with no gimmicks or interviews. It was also a show that I got to watch on dull weekends before we had our satellite. I still like to go to Ebert's website because he is a very good writer. Hopefully he'll still stay in the movie review business for years.

I still think Siskel misunderstood My Neighbor Totoro, but nobody's perfect.
