If you guys don't know what Pandora is, it's a website that plays songs based on bands you like. The idea is that you get to hear a bunch of bands that you might actually like in a radio type format. Most of the time it's really neat, but the TMBG station I have is just plain odd. Smashing Pumpkins? The Killers? Marcy Playground? It plays some songs that I like, but none of them seem to be related to TMBG in any way. It that because they're so hard to categorize? I suspect it might be the case.

Well now they're playing 500 Miles by The Proclaimers. They're getting closer!

i think you hit the nail on the head when you speculated that they're hard to categorize. you can't put TMBG in a box.

did you ever try Sir Mixalot yet?

I always get weird results when I search TMBG, the music "I might also like" is never close at all I think you're right about them being hard to categorize

My TMBG station on pandora always seems to play alot of Cake and Dandy Warhols.

Mine used to play Cake sometimes, but now it just seems to play The Misfits and The Ramones. I have no idea why.

Well the TMBG station was there when I got there, so somebody else in this house started it! Pandora's fun, but it does play a lot of the same songs over and over again. Luckily I've got about 50 stations to chose from now.

it must have been Nathan, cuz Dad had no idea what i was talkin about when i asked him just now. unless I made it, & then forgot.

i'm not too big on radio in general though... there's something about the total lack of control on my part that bugs me i guess.
