it is so @#$%ing HOT here!!!! they're calling for a high of 101 today. i can't even look out the window in the morning when i get up, cuz it's so humid the windows are all fogged up.

we went for groceries last night around 9, just to not have to go out in the sun today. it was 90 out when we left... at 9 o'clock at night! oy.

i knew the mid 80s would never last. we had a pretty good run though.

so... how horrible is it where you are?

Not that horrible here, it's in the low 90s today.

The rain's been pretty bad though. We've been getting quick thunderstorms that dump alot water and disappear.

we could use some rain. of course, rain makes the grass grow, so...

we ended up cleaning out our shed today... on the hottest day of the year. my neice got a dumpster & said we could put some junk in it. she's had it for weeks, but they're coming to get it on thursday, so it was getting to be a now or never type deal. i tried to get galoot to do it sooner, but noooo.

we still have more stuff that can go in if she can't fill it up. we'll see on tuesday or wednesday.

oy.

it got to 101, but the humidity is so high they're saying on the news that it's unprecedented. i always laugh when galoot sez "the guy on the radio said it's the hottest day ever" but i guess he wasn't kidding. there's hopefully a cool front coming mid week though.

i hate summer.

they're calling for 104 here! it's only 99 here right now, but it feels like 117 I'm staying in where it's cool!

& poor klim too. sheesh. i hear it's real bad in Texas. plus, there's a tropical depression headed their way i think.

i covered half of our sliding glass door with foil the other day. (or as i like to call it... our solar panel)

lowest high is 109 this week

according to our thermometer highest so far was 122 but I just remember a real HOT day

i can't believe people can even survive those kind of temperatures.

it acted like it was gonna rain last night but it never did. it cooled off real nice though. we got to sit on the porch & everything. the forecasted high for today is 87, which is a huge improvement over the last few days.

after we got rain on Saturday night it cooled off beautiful! it was only like 76 degrees yesterday!
