he's been through lots of hurricanes. i think he was even there for Andrew.

It wasn't much more than a rainstorm here. I don't even think I heard any thunder. I even had to go to work today. Even though it was just a half-day (12:00-4:00)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I was here for Andrew too. Luckily everything since that storm has been pretty wimpy when it passed through here.

i'm really glad you're safe, Fire. i figured you would be, since you've been through way worse, but i always feel better when i know for sure.

I only had one hurricane. I think her name was Gloria, I was probably in 3rd or 4th grade.

wow. i didn't know they had em up there. were you living down south when you were a kid?

I was on Long Island. They don't usually hit up there, but there was that one time. We also had a tornado once, that was really weird, because we were on vacation at the time, and when we came home the neighborhood was trashed and we had no clue what happened.

i live in tornado alley. we get em all the time. i've never actually been in one, but a lot of my family members have.

Wow, it wasn't nearly that bad when it came through here. I guess we didn't get as much rain because it was moving pretty fast.

I'm still really far south in Davie, FL so I'm not seeing much of anything from the storm here.
