Full Version: Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Lord PichuPal
I've been planning to make a Whose Line fan video since last October, but never have been able to get my actors (local friends/people) to help me with it. After all that time, I've finally got them ready to do it soon, but one problem: I don't got anything set up. What I mean is I want help from people I know online since you can only imagine how much work that'd be for one person to do if I try to come up with all the scenes, suggestions, etc. by myself.

So, what I'm asking is that anybody who wants to put in suggestions here for that kind of stuff. I'll list what games I've got planned already, and I'll leave all suggestions to you guys (and maybe a couple other forums and friends, too. Want this to be as fan-friendly as possible). Once it's done, I'll have it uploaded in 3 parts to YouTube. If all goes according to plan, I'll have all this ready and finished before the week ends. Thanks in advance for all help you guys offer.

Game 1: Questions Only (need scene suggestion)
Game 2: Two-Line Vocabulary (need scene suggestion, two lines for Kyle, two lines for Chico)
Game 3: Scenes From A Hat (need as many scenes as possible; only 6 or 7 will get pulled from the hat, but may put around 15-20 in the hat)
Game 4: Weird Newscasters (need quirk for co-anchor, quirk for sports reporter, quirk for weather guy)
Game 5: Foreign Film Dub (need language to fake, need scene)
Game 6: 90-Second Alphabet (need letter to start on, need scene)

I'll update this with whatever I see and accept for the video, and will credit the forum[s] as a whole that help out and get included. Thanks and hope everyone enjoys.

Game 1: Questions Only (need scene suggestion)
How about a somebody in a shoe store, shopping for running shoes?

Game 2: Two-Line Vocabulary (need scene suggestion, two lines for Kyle, two lines for Chico)
emo-tmbgtalk_hmm.gif I'm not familiar with this game...

Game 3: Scenes From A Hat (need as many scenes as possible; only 6 or 7 will get pulled from the hat, but may put around 15-20 in the hat)
1. Far-fetched excuses for not having your homework done
2. Worst things to say if a cop pulls you over for speeding
3. Least promising opening lines for a book or story
4. Lamest names/powers for a superhero character
5. Worst things you could say to a girl when you first meet her
6. Worst nicknames you could give an athlete
7. Things you could say to someone you idolize that would freak them out
8. Things not to say when ordering pizza
9. Wacky song titles
10. Worst things you could ask your teacher
(That's all I've got for now, but I could probably think up some more later...)

Game 4: Weird Newscasters (need quirk for co-anchor, quirk for sports reporter, quirk for weather guy)
Co-Anchor -- can't stop talking about his dog
Sports Reporter -- has a gambling problem
Weather Guy -- had a fight with his brother earlier in the day and is taking his anger out on everyone

Game 5: Foreign Film Dub (need language to fake, need scene)
Language -- French
Scene -- a hockey coach giving his players a pep talk

Game 6: 90-Second Alphabet (need letter to start on, need scene)
Letter -- P
Scene -- guys playing a video game

For Two-Line Vocabulary, 3 performer/actors have to act out the scene but two of them can only say 2 lines, while the other person is free to say whatever. Every time the other two talk they have to use only one of those two lines. The lines can be anything. I got some pretty good ones from Andrew Kepple of the Illemonati, but still could use another line (or may find other lines funnier if possible).

Here's an example. (I'm not familiar with this game either, untill I looked this up)

[DoHTML]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1VWHz-Hbq_E&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1VWHz-Hbq_E&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/DoHTML]

How about:

Better not look behind you.
That makes me so angry.
I think I'm going to be sick.
You've got a point.
GRChereck
emo-tmbgtalk_lol2.gif I see...

How about:
Scene suggestion -- a dad teaches his sons how to hunt deer
Two lines for Kyle -- "Wow, look at that!" and "Oh jeez"
Two lines for Chico -- "So what?" and "Yeah, I guess so"

More ideas for Scenes From A Hat:
1. Embarrassing things you could ask or tell your doctor
2. Bizarre party-game suggestions
3. Questionable boardgame rules
4. Unappealing vacation suggestions
5. Things not to say to your friends' parents

emo-tmbgtalk_lol2.gif good ones! I love Whose Line Is It Anyway? good luck pichu!

Due to complications, we've lost one of our actors. So while we delay taping to find a replacement, that leaves more time to choose which suggestions I like best/think will work best.

And yeah, I love Two-Line Vocabulary, it's always a lot of fun to watch. Then again all the games are hilarious thanks to the great performers they got.

Noah always loved that show, but it never really grabbed me. go figure. emo-tmbgtalk_lol2.gif

i think GR has it all pretty well under control, as far as suggestions go. emo-tmbgtalk_thumbup.gif

Yeah, and I'm not getting anything from Pixel Pagoda or the Lemon Demon forums besides what Andrew Kepple gave me (thinking of taking some of his suggestions as well, since he had some great ones). I'll start updating the list probably soon with what suggestions I've decided to go with so far (Scenes From A Hat though won't be listed, that'll just stay a surprise).
GRChereck
I can't wait to see some of the stuff Andrew came up with, if you go with it. emo-tmbgtalk_thumbup.gif

Been a while since an update, because my actors are still fizzling out on me. My two original choices Tony and Timmy have been around again lately, so just a matter of sparking interest from everyone and have the script ready. If all goes well, MAYBE this'll actually be finished unlike my other ideas.

good luck with everything, Pich. emo-fingerscrossed-1.gif
