You guys better tell me if this is too nerdy for these boards, but here's a new Idea for a game along the lines of the person below thread and stuff like that.
I'm guessing there are only a limited number of these so let's try not to repeat untill we've gonethrough them all.
Here's how it will work. Name a TMBG song with a reference to a musical artist, and the artists name.
bands and individuals count
real people only - no fictional bands
if the song names more than one artist, pick only one
no repeats please
I'll start -
Where Your Eyes Don't Go - Kurtis Blow

I forgot to mention, they don't have to say the name. It could be a song with the same title as another popular song, or a song that reworks or samples existing lyrics or a cover of another band's song.

ok, this might be a bit of a roundabout one, but here goes.

in Your Own Worst Enemy there's the part that goes...
And the song they play
Is that guy with the messed up face
Going, "Precious and few are the moments that you
And your own worst enemy share."
the guy who sang the song "Precious And Few" is "Sonny Geraci" of the band Climax. his face isn't messed up though. he's a regular lookin guy.

i think they were really talkin about this other singer i can remember from the 70s who's face was all pock marked, but i can't quite put my finger on who he was anymore.

but i could be totally wrong. here's Sonny. you be the judge...
